<p>This light-emitting element is provided with an organic functional layer (50) including a light-emitting layer, a first light-transmissive layer (110) arranged on the light extraction side relative to the organic functional layer (50), and a second light-transmissive layer (120) having a lower refractive index than the first light-transmissive layer (110) and embedded in the first light-transmissive layer (110). At least a part of the second light-transmissive layer (120) is a tilted part tilted relative to the light-emitting layer.
