Provided are a flavor-improving agent for menthol, with which the flavor of menthol can be improved by suppressing unpleasant tastes such as bitterness and irritation peculiar to menthol; and a method for improving the flavor of menthol. In particular, a preparation and a method for suppressing the above-mentioned unpleasant tastes while maintaining a cooling sensation are provided. The afore-said agent and method can be provided by using davana oil in combination with menthol. Thus, the unpleasant tastes such as bitterness and irritation of menthol are suppressed while maintaining the cooling sensation of menthol, whereby the flavor of menthol can be improved to mild. |
