Elevator guide rails

The invention relates to a method for providing elevator guide rails (32) in an elevator shaft (10), in which method the guide rails are formed with a forming machine in or adjacent to the elevator shaft. Via this measure the effort for installing and adjusting guide rails in an elevator shaft can be essentially reduced.
