<p>The device (1) has a comb-like smoothing tool (2) comprising two rows of tines (Z1, Z2). The rows of tines are arranged opposite to each other for opening and closing an adjustable hair styling gap (H) that is formed between prongs (Z1.1-Z1.x, Z2.1-Z2.x) of the respective rows of tines. A stop element limits amount of movement of one row of tines with respect to another row of tines for closing the gap such that a gap of small width remains between mutually facing hair styling surfaces of the hair styling gap, where the small width corresponds to 2-5 times of the diameter of hair.</p> |
