<p>The present invention relates to a novel gene of protein O-mannosyltransferase of Hansenula polymorpha, a strain which produces recombinant foreign proteins. Also, the present invention relates to a mutant strain of Hansenula polymorpha, in which a novel protein O-mannosyltransferase gene is deleted and a method for producing recombinant foreign proteins using the same. The mutant strain of Hansenula polymorpha is developed as a host cell for producing recombinant proteins with the activity of foreign proteins by reducing yeast-specific O-mannosylation.</p> |
