Embodiments of the present invention provide a power factor correction circuit and a power supply circuit. The power factor correction circuit includes a main correction circuit and a switch module. The main correction circuit includes: a first correction circuit and a second correction circuit that are configured to perform power factor correction on an forward alternating current voltage, and a third correction circuit and a fourth correction circuit that are configured to perform power factor correction on an inverse alternating current voltage. The switch module includes first switch units that are connected in parallel between an input terminal of the first correction circuit and an input terminal of the third correction circuit, and second switch units that are connected in parallel between an input terminal of the second correction circuit and an input terminal of the fourth correction circuit. The first switch unit and the second switch unit each include two controlled switches that are connected in series. The power factor correction circuit provided in the embodiments of the present invention can control turn-on or turn-off of the electric connection between each correction circuit and the input voltage by using a switch module, thereby improving the usage rate of each correction circuit and reducing costs of the power factor correction circuit.
