Magnetic resonance system for detecting the presence of an analyte

A fluidics system is provided to detect the presence of an analyte. The fluidics system contains a concentrating magnet system generating a non-uniform magnetic field for concentrating nanoparticle-analyte complexes. The system further contains a magnetic resonance system for determining the T2 within a liquid containing said complexes.
