<p>A tire comprising a crown reinforcement formed from at least two bilayers of parallel reinforcing elements in a ply, which bilayers are distributed with a constant pitch and crossed from one ply to another, and which do not have a free end at the edges thereof. Within a radial plane, the surface density of reinforcing elements in a region bounded by the geometric centers of four pairwise adjacent reinforcing elements, belonging in pairs to a bilayer, and forming a quadrilateral, is greater at the center of the tire than at the ends of the bilayers.</p> |
