A worm reduction gear casing A has an extension B supporting a driving electric motor C coupled to the reduction gear by a belt or other means, and has bolted, or otherwise affixed, thereto a mounting bracket E. The extension B and bracket E have fixing holes or slots therein. The extension B may be arranged horizontally, vertically or, as shown, inclined. The base of the bracket E may be symmetrical, with respect to the bracket, or may be asymmetrical, and may be arranged parallel or at right angles thereto.
