<p>PURPOSE: An antiobesity composition containing a medicinal herb extract as an active ingredient is provided to reduce body weight and body fat without toxicity in vivo, thereby being used as a pharmaceutical product and a health food for preventing and treating obesity. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity contains a mixture extract as an active ingredient, including 20-40 wt% of Pharbitidis semen, 20-40 wt% of talc, 10-30 wt% of Scutellariae radix, and 10-30 wt% of Rhei rhizoma. The mixture extract is prepared from a mixture of Pharbitidis semen, talc, Scutellariae radix, and Rhei rhizome using a solvent selected among water, C1-C4 alcohol, and a mixture thereof.</p> |
