A container 10 having a wall 12 with a thickness defined by inner 16 and outer 18 surfaces, said inner surface 16 defining an internal cavity 19 for receiving fluid, such as helium. The container having an opening 22 through which fluid can enter/exit the container, said opening 22 being connected to a fluid conduit 30 at least a length of which extends through the wall 12 in between the inner and outer surfaces thereof which exits 38 through the inner surface to communicate with the internal cavity 19. When in the wall the conduit 37, may be nested (figs 3 & 5), it may be helical and may have a cross-section with a receiving portion and an extension portion (figs 3 & 5). A support member 45 may also be provided. A pulse tube refrigerator/cryocooler system may include such a container as a reservoir to reduce vibration of an integral inertance tube. |
