PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant composition reducible of viscosity of slurry, a method for producing the dispersant composition, a dispersion method using the dispersant composition, and a method for producing a slurry composition. SOLUTION: The dispersant composition comprises: an ammonium salt or amine salt of a polymer containing the constitutional unit derived from a (meth)acrylic acid; an ester of a (meth)acrylic acid and isopropanol, and water. The salt of the polymer has weight-average molecular weight of 30,000-80,000. A content of the ester in the dispersant composition is 700 wt.ppm or more and less than 1,600 wt.ppm.
