A heat exchanger 10 of a desiccant wheel dehumidifier 1 comprises a frame 11 having an air inlet (113, fig 2) and an air outlet 114, and a plurality of heat exchange tubes 12 fixed on the frame. The tubes are arranged side by side wherein every two adjacent tubes are separated at an interval (space) from each other to form a first flow channel (128). Each of the tubes include a body 121 and at least one wall 122 defining a plurality of second flow channels 123 in communication with the air inlet and air outlet. A bottom of the frame may have at least one liquid outlet (115). The first flow may be orthogonal to the second flow. One end of the tubes may have a guiding slope (124, fig 3 - chamfer) for smooth discharge of condensate. The inlet may be located at a top of the frame and the outlet may be located at the bottom of the frame (fig 2). Both the inlet and outlet may be located at the bottom of the frame (fig 6). An upper (13), lower (14) and middle (15, fig 5A) grille may support the tubes. |
