A foot rest cushion for a table 20 comprises a frame for mounting the cushion to a peripheral portion of a table, the frame comprising a first frame member 11a which is arranged to extend upon a support surface 21 of the table and a second frame member 11b which is arranged to extend from the first member along an outer perimeter of the peripheral portion of the support surface, the cushion further including a padded portion 12 disposed upon the frame for supporting a persons feet and/or lower legs. Preferably the first and second frame members are arranged in an L-shape and wherein the second frame member may have opposing portions that locate around the peripheral edge of the table so as to prevent slippage of the footrest cushion on the table. The frame may be formed separately or integrally to the padded cushion and may be secured to the tabletop via clamping means or suction cups. The padded cushion may be covered 13. The combination of a table with the footrest cushion is also disclosed. In use, a central portion 24 of the tabletop 21 is left uncovered. |
