<p>The synchronizing mechanism (1) has base unit (2) that is movably arranged on seat carrier (4). A backrest support (9) is pivotally mounted on base unit in chair transverse pivot axis (S). A biasing element is arranged on seat carrier to exert forward biasing force on backrest support. A coupling mechanism is connected with base unit by moving seat carrier relative to base unit and is designed such that movements of seat carrier are positively controlled and seat support can be moved back and forth at a fixed backrest carrier between two positions in parallel.</p> |
