The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for providing a mouse function using a touch device, which display a mouse interface and may control a remote device by supporting a mouse function according to a mouse gesture of a user input based on the mouse interface. The method of providing a mouse function using a touch device according to the present invention includes the steps of displaying a mouse interface that is divided into a panning region and a pointer moving region; receiving a mouse gesture through the mouse interface; processing the panning operation of a content screen displayed on a display device when the mouse gesture is input to the panning region; and processing the moving operation of a mouse pointer displayed on the display device when the mouse gesture is input to the pointer moving region.
