Disclosed is an interactive interface apparatus providing content corresponding to a voice signal received from a display device. The interactive interface apparatus comprises: a communications unit for receiving the voice signal corresponding to a user voice collected by the display device; and a control unit for identifying a speaking intention of a user using the voice signal, generating a query to search for content corresponding to the identified speaking intention, and transmitting the query to an external server to classify metadata on content into items and to store the classified metadata. The control unit extracts a speaking element to identify a speaking intention from the voice signal, and generates the query by converting the extracted speaking element to be matched to a content classification standard of each item.
