PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact tactile sense presentation technique for making a fingertip generate tactual sensation without interposing a device between the fingertip and a tool (spatially transparent), without generating a feeling of strangeness on operations, and without obstructing a tool operation further.SOLUTION: A spatially transparent tactile sense presentation device includes: two stimulating electrodes abutted along each of two afferent nerves that run on both side faces of a finger; one ground electrode abutted more on the palm side than the two stimulating electrodes; and an electric signal generation part for giving predetermined electric signals for which at least one of a wave height and a frequency corresponding to respective stimulating electrode terminals is controlled, to the respective stimulating electrodes. An electric stimulation is generated in the two afferent nerves by giving the electric signals to the respective stimulating electrodes, and the tactile sensation is generated at the end position of the finger. A tool operation support system uses the spatially transparent tactile sense presentation device. |
