<p>The system comprises a spacer (3) that is arranged on a facade (4) and secured between two end faces of an upper insulation panel (2) and a lower insulation panel (1). A cross section of the spacer is formed and one of the end faces of the insulation panels is profiled such that one of the end faces of the insulation panels and the spacer are coupled to each other. The lateral cross-section of the spacer comprises 3 to 10 round-shaped corners near a center of gravity inside the spacer.
