摘要 In the present invention, there is disclosed a low profile planar slotted antenna consisting of a dielectric substrate (1) of low relative permittivity in the range of about 1 to about 4 having on the bottom side a ground plane (2) and on the upper side a conductive motif of a radiator formed by two rectangular conductive flats (3.1, 3.2) separated inside by a slot (4) with a width in the range of 0.0004 to 0.08 {lambda}ig, wherein {lambda}ig denotes a wavelength on the given substrate, and connected on outer sides with the ground plane. The length of the first and second flats (3.1, 3.2) in the direction perpendicular to the slot (4) longitudinal axis is in the range of 0.15 to 0.5 {lambda}ig and their width is in the range of 0.1 to 0.5 {lambda}ig. Contacts of a feeding chip (6) are bonded between inner edges of the first flat (3.1) and the second flat (3.2) of the radiator conductive motif. The first conductive flat (3.1) comprises a first set (5.1) of tuning cuts and/or the second conductive flat (3.2) comprises a second set (5.2) of tuning cuts oriented perpendicularly to the slot (4), passing continuously into the slot (4), and situated symmetrically relative to the center of the antenna. The width of the tuning cuts and strips between the tuning cuts is in the range of 0.0005 to 0.02 {lambda}ig and the length of the tuning cuts is in the range of 0.01 to 0.2 {lambda}ig. The width of the tuning cuts and strips therebetween can be identical or different.
