摘要 According to one embodiment, there is provided an imaging element array including an imaging element group in which a plurality of imaging elements are aligned, each of the imaging elements including an integrally molded input portion, an output portion, and a reflective portion, collecting light input to the input portion, reflecting the light by the reflective portion near a position where light flux is downsized, and outputting the reflected light from the output portion to form an image at an image point, and an inhibiting portion which is formed around the reflected portion in the imaging element group to inhibit light other than the light reflected by the reflective portion from traveling to the output portion.

An imaging element array comprising: an imaging element group in which a plurality of imaging elements are aligned in a main scanning direction, each of the imaging elements including an integrally molded input portion, an output portion, and a reflective portion which has a free form reflective surface which is asymmetric in a sub scanning direction, each of the imaging elements collecting light input to the input portion, reflecting the light by the reflective portion near a position where light flux is downsized, the reflected light being collected on a side which is slightly closer to the output portion than the reflective portion, and outputting the reflected light from the output portion to form an image at an image point; and an inhibiting portion which is formed around the reflected portion in the imaging element group to inhibit light other than the light reflected by the reflective portion from traveling to the output portion, wherein the imaging elements are formed into a non-linear shape such that widths of the input portions are different depending on positions in the main scanning direction.
