a ladder magnetic core having length and width, the ladder magnetic core including first and second rails and N rungs, N being an integer greater than one, the first and second rails extending the lengthwise direction and the N rungs joining the first and second rails in the widthwise direction, a separation distance between adjacent rungs in the lengthwise direction being greater than a separation distance between the first and second rails in the widthwise direction; and N windings, each of the N windings wound at least partially around a respective one of the N rungs; the N windings non-overlapping along the length and the width of the ladder magnetic core, as seen when looking cross-sectionally in the widthwise direction. |
