Adjustable sliding weaving reed enables to alter the width of fabric while weaving and change the density of reed in independent groups. Adjustable weaving reed consists of pairs of guiding dents which slide along upper and lower rail. The construction of the upper and lower heads of the guiding dents keep them vertical while moving along the rail. The upper and lower head of the guiding dent have axis around which pairs of arms are fixed with a joint. The dents of the adjustable sliding reed are round wires which upper and lower parts are turned under 90 degrees angle and fixed into the holes in the arms. While moving the guiding dent along the rail the angle of the arms change and the dents move closer to each other. The position of the guiding dents are fixed through the upper head to the upper rail. |
