The object i.e. timepiece (1), has a case (3) including a first part made of insulating materials e.g. ceramics, and an electronic module (10) providing information to a display unit e.g. LCD screen. A control unit allows the user to act on the electronic module. The control unit includes a tactile unit (21) placed at level of the part. The tactile control unit includes an electrode system near an interior face of the first part. The electrode system includes a support, made of insulating materials, on which an electrode is arranged.
