The present invention relates to an infrared thermometer capable of calculating the surface temperature of a target object by detecting infrared rays emitted from the surface of the target object. The present invention includes: an infrared temperature sensor (10) which measures the infrared energy emitted from a target object (50) to detect the temperature of the target object; a sensor protection pipe (14) which is installed at a right angle to the target object and protects the infrared temperature sensor placed inside; a sensor fixing plate (11) on which the infrared temperature sensor is installed and which is placed to be movable up and down inside the sensor protection pipe; a housing (15) which includes a fan (16) to blow cool air to the sensor protection pipe in order for the infrared temperature sensor not to be thermally affected; a support plate (17) which is combined to the top of the sensor protection pipe, is installed inside the housing to support the sensor protection pipe, and includes a hole (17′) at the center to allow air to flow; a position determination member which moves the sensor fixing plate up and down to determine the position of the infrared temperature sensor; one or more guide bars (13) of which the lower ends penetrate the sensor fixing plate and the upper ends are fixed to a pipe support plate to guide the elevation of the sensor fixing plate; and a control unit (20) which calculates the temperature of the target object (50) and controls the fan according to the signal from the infrared temperature sensor. |
