The present invention provides a speech perception test corresponding to the development and level of children and, more specifically, to a speech perception testing apparatus and a speech perception testing method using the same, whereby accuracy and reliability of the speech perception test can be greatly improved through optimal verbal and visual strengthening methods and procedures. The apparatus includes: a hearing threshold examination unit to examine a hearing threshold of an examinee; an examiner input unit to input information regarding the examination information of an examination method, a set of examination sentences, a strengthening method, a correct and incorrect answer; a storage unit having an examination sound storage unit to store the examination sound required for the speech perception test and a courseware data storage unit to store the display information required for the speech perception test; an examinee input unit to receive a response of an examinee; a sound output unit having an examination sound output unit to output examination sound for the speech perception test, a verbal strengthening output unit to output sound for verbal strengthening, and an auditory effect output unit to output an auditory effect; a screen output unit to output the display information for the visual strengthening; and a control process unit to call the examination sound, the verbal strengthening data and the visual strengthening data selected according to the information regarding the examination inputted through the examiner input unit from the storage unit and outputting the examination sound, the verbal strengthening data and the visual strengthening data to the sound output unit and the screen output unit. |
