A driving apparatus for a liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to improve the picture quality by removing the motion blurring phenomenon of image. A liquid crystal display comprises a liquid crystal panel(2), a plurality of data drivers, a gate driving unit, and a timing controller(8). The liquid crystal panel includes a plurality of pixels which is classified into three regions (1Do to 3Do). A plurality of data drivers operate a plurality of data lines(DL1 or DLm) by adjusting the video signal supply period and the charge share period. The timing controller controls a plurality of data drivers and each gate driving unit by producing the data and the gate control signal. |
