1. Apparatus for syndicated data stream content provisioning, the apparatus comprising:
an interaction tracker, configured to track at least one interaction of a specific user with at least one content object of a respective one of a group consisting of at least one syndicated data stream received on a computer device, said interaction being implicitly indicative of a preference of the specific user; a ranking function calculator, in communication with said interaction tracker, configured to calculate a user specific ranking function, using a multidimensional analysis of content interaction data, the multidimensional analysis being independent of predefined weighting among dimension of the multidimensional analysis, the content interaction data being based on the tracked interaction of the specific user only, the calculation of the user specific ranking function being based on a method independent of any weight assigned to a relationship between the specific user and another specific user, thereby to represent preferences of the specific user; and a content ranker, in communication with said ranking function calculator, configured to rank a plurality of content objects of the syndicated data streams of the group, upon said content objects being received for the specific user, through the syndicated data streams, in an order based on the calculated user specific ranking function wherein said ranking function calculator is further configured to generate comparative data indicative of relative preference of the specific user over at least two of the content objects subjected to the traced interactions, and using the generated comparative data, to calculate the user specific ranking function. |
