The electronic component diagnosis device includes a voltage output unit changing and outputting a level of voltage; a storage unit storing a reference voltage corresponding to a specific external condition; and a control unit determining whether the electronic component is normal according to a performance result after mounting the electronic component on a corresponding electronic device, applying the reference voltage to the electronic component, and testing the electronic device under a predetermined test condition. Thus, according to the electronic component diagnosis device and the control method thereof, since an electronic component (10) is tested with a predetermined factor value of a general condition corresponding to a specific external condition, a fast test can be performed under a better condition, the electronic component (10) can be further improved, and an electronic device (30) providing reliability to a user can be provided.
