The present invention relates to an air-conditioning control system for a rear seat of a vehicle and a controlling method thereof and, more specifically, a method for controlling air conditioning of a rear seat of a vehicle comprising: a pressure sensing step (S100) of measuring and sensing pressure applied to a rear seat in a vehicle by using a pressure sensor equipped in the rear seat inside the vehicle; a determining step (S200) of determining whether a passenger sits on the rear seat of the vehicle using the pressure value sensed through the pressure sensor value sensing step (S100); and an air distribution control step (S300) of controlling distribution of discharged air to increase an amount of air delivered to the rear seat of the vehicle through a defrost vent of an air conditioner (1).
