NITRIDED VALVE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a nitrided valve and a manufacturing method thereof which is capable of improving the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of components by nitriding the components required to have the corrosion resistance and the wear resistance and of reducing production costs by reducing the weight of the valve and simplifying manufacturing processes. The manufacturing method of the nitrided valve comprises (a) a step for putting a valve body, a control unit, or a connection unit into a thermal treatment chamber capable of controlling nitrogen atmosphere and gas pressure; (b) a step for forming a nitrided layer by injecting nitrogen gas pressure into the thermal treatment chamber, and maintaining the predetermined range of temperature for a set time to inject nitrogen into the surface of the valve body, control unit, or connection unit; and (c) a step for water-cooling the valve body or the control unit by drawing the valve body or the control unit out of the thermal treatment chamber.
