The present invention relates to a method for predicting strength of austenitic high-nitrogen steels, which is characterized by having below mathematical formula (1) and (2) as prediction equations to predict yield strength and tensile of the steels, respectively, thereby providing a prediction method for predicting the yield strength and the tensile strength of the austenitic high-nitrogen steels before the austenitic high-nitrogen steels are manufactured. Mathematical formula (1): Yield strength (MPa) = 300 + 367×(nitrogen content, wt% N) + 20×(cold work rate, %CW) + 40. Mathematical formula (2): Tensile strength (MPa) = 573 + 468×(nitrogen content, wt% N) + 12×(cold work rate, %CW) + 20. |
