ARC FLASH SENSING UNIT

The present invention relates to an arc flash detecting sensor unit installed in a power control panel including at least one of a power receiving panel, a power distributing panel, a panel board, and a motor control board, and sensing an arc flash. The arc flash detecting sensor unit includes a light receiving unit which is installed in the power control panel and includes an optical fiber whose side is processed to receive an arc flash on a side along a longitudinal direction; and a light detecting unit which detects a light received through the optical fiber whose side is processed. The arc flash detecting sensor unit has a structure processed to have a scratch pattern at each sensing point on the side along a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber, and is capable of detecting whether or not an arc flash occurs at multiple sensing positions using a single optical fiber, thereby having a simple structure.
