The present invention relates to a method and a device for recording video data on an electronic device and, particularly, to a method and a device for storing different directional video data obtained by multiple cameras at the same time. The method for storing the video data on the electronic device comprises the following steps of: obtaining a first piece of video data and a second piece of video data; storing the first piece of video data, and checking an object state of the second piece of video data; and storing the second piece of video data with the first piece of video data when the object state of the second piece of video data meets a predetermined condition.
