The present invention relates to an anode composition for a lithium secondary battery comprising an anode active material coated with vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) and an aqueous binder, an anode comprising the same, and a lithium secondary battery using the anode. The anode composition according to the present invention prevents corrosion of a metal substrate in the lithium secondary battery while having high electrical conductive properties. The lithium secondary battery comprising the anode composition reduces the resistance of an electrode plate and obtains excellent high rate properties and lifetime properties.
