The present invention relates to a method for controlling a bending roll gap of a coil box coiling a bar passed through a roughing mill. The method for controlling a bending roll gap of a coil box includes a presetting step for setting the bending roll gap as a roll gap (G); a measuring step for calculating a measured value of the head thickness (t) of the bar on an outlet side of the roughing mill; a comparing step for calculating the absolute value of a value difference between the measured value and the preset setting value; and a resetting step for resetting the bending roll gap as a roll gap (R) if the absolute value exceeds the preset reference value. |
