摘要 Provided is a method for cloisonne formation or decoration in a base metal, which is formed of a copper alloy that has copper as a main ingredient and has another metal or a nonmetallic element added to the main ingredient for improvement in characteristics, allowing an original color of the cloisonne to be expressed well. The above-described method is configured to include a pre-treatment step in which a silver thin film is laid on a protruding part of a pressing mold, where a pattern is formed to protrude so that a groove having a pattern with a specific shape is carved on one surface of the base metal produced into a predetermined shape; a step in which a part of the base metal to be decorated with the cloisonne is heated and burned to a high temperature and then the part of the base metal to be decorated with the cloisonne is laid on the protruding part of the pressing mold and is pressed with a press so that an engraved pattern groove portion to which the silver thin film is attached is formed on the surface of the base metal; a cloisonne formation step in which the pattern groove portion that is formed as described above is heated with the pattern groove portion being filled with glassy enamel having an intrinsic color so that the glassy enamel is melted and adheres to the surface of the base metal; and a finishing step in which the base metal where the cloisonne is formed is polished and ground so that the intrinsic color of the cloisonne formed in the base metal is extracted.
