The fork (24) has a body (40) comprising a fork-shaped portion (34) that is cooperated with a circular sliding groove of an automated gearbox. A sleeve (30) is connected to the body and slidable on a shaft (18). The body comprises an opening (36) formed between the sleeve and the forked portion. The opening is extended in a direction parallel to the sleeve. The opening is formed to be traversed by a sleeve (32) of another fork (26) for controlling the gearbox. The opening has diameter of preferably 20 mm, where the sleeves are designed in a length-adjustable manner. An independent claim is also included for a gearbox.
