<p>The present invention relates to a tetrahedral traffic sign tripod comprising: a tripod main body having a hollow hole in each side of a tetrahedron; multiple LED modules installed in each side of the tripod main body; a ground sensor to make sure that one side of the tripod is in contact with the ground; a tilt sensor for detecting the apex vertically standing with respect to the ground when the tripod main body is set; and a controller for operating the LED modules according to the detecting signal of the ground sensor, and for turning off the LED modules installed in the floor of the tripod main body based on the vertical apex detected from the tilt sensor and turning on the LED modules installed in the other three sides bordering the apex vertically standing. The present invention minimizes the effects of wind by stably supporting the tripod main body in the ground and maintaining the perpendicularity in any circumstance; reduces the risk of a vehicle safety accident and inconvenience of manually operating a switch since the traffic sign tripod is installed and operated at the same time; and improves the safety since three sides except for the floor is capable of emitting light in any circumstance.</p> |
