<p>The heelpiece has a tubular movable body mounted to pivot around a hinge pin (14) that is suspended by side arms connected to a lower base (12) of a carriage. The body has a release spring (15) acting on a movable piston (17) that is engaged with a release surface (18) of the pin so as to occupy closed and open positions of the heelpiece. A heel grip is arranged at an end of the body to maintain a heel of ski boot on skiing in the closed position. The release surface is formed by a projection (21) of the hinge pin arranged in relief with respect to rest of the hinge pin. An independent claim is also included for a safety binding of ski boot on a ski.</p> |
