PURPOSE: A semiconductor device with a finite state machine for flexibly setting the order of converting a state and a method using the same are provided to flexibly adjust the order of converting the state of the semiconductor device. CONSTITUTION: A user defined register(110) receives data for converting the order of a state to store. A state controller(120) detects the order by using data saved in the user defined register and converts the state according to the detected order. A state converter(130) changes the state the state controller. An FSM(Finite State Machine) flexibly sets the order of converting the state. |
