According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a location information providing method in which a location information providing server connected with a user terminal provides location information. The method comprises a step of receiving a place search request including a region keyword and a category keyword from the user terminal; a step of extracting multiple related category keywords corresponding to the separated category keyword and multiple recommendation region keywords corresponding to the region keyword when the place search request is received; a step of generating a place keyword list including the multiple recommendation region keywords and the multiple related category keywords; and a step of providing the user terminal with a map, in which the location information corresponding to the place keyword list and the place search request is marked.
