The present invention relates to a mobile terminal, a home appliance, and a method for operating the same. The method for operating the mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a step for displaying a predetermined screen; a step for transmitting screen-related information to the home appliance in an event of tagging with the home appliance in a state where the security level of screen-related data is a first level; and a step for transmitting the screen-related information and security information to the home appliance in an event of tagging with the home appliance in a state where the security level of the screen-related data is a second level. Accordingly, selective information transmission between the home appliance and the mobile terminal is available via near-field communications.
