The piston (10) has an upper face (10s) delimiting a lower part of a combustion chamber. A bowl shaped cavity (12) is formed in the upper face, where the cavity includes a lower base (16) and an upper annular wall (14). A mobile part (20) is arranged inside the cavity and slides with respect to a main body (18) along a main axis (A) of the piston for modifying compression ratio of the combustion chamber during operation of an engine by modifying volume of the cavity. |
