The device (50) has a securing element securing a portion (52) to a roof element. Another portion (54) defining a bearing surface (56) is movably mounted on the former portion between a retracted position in which the bearing surface is near the securing element, and an extended position in which the bearing surface is away from the securing element. A torsion spring (70) returns the latter portion to the extended position, and a blocking device (72) blocks the latter portion in the retracted position, where the latter portion moves relative to an edge surface when moved between the positions. An independent claim is also included for a foldable shelter for a basin.
