A method of treating a net (2) formed from interconnecting strands (4a, 4b) of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) , the net (2) being formed! with knotless intersections (6), comprising the steps of: a) heating the net (2) to a temperature of fro 80° to 135°C; b) applying tension to the net (2); c) reducing the temperature to below 80°C; and d) removing tension from the net (2). |
