<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel apparatus capable of changing sense of touch for feedback to an operator without requiring a complicated control circuit.SOLUTION: The touch panel apparatus includes a first piezoelectric element 14a and a second piezoelectric element 14b which are respectively abutted on mutually adjacent positions on a rear face of a touch panel 12 to displace the touch panel 12 in a vertical direction and a vibration drive control part 18 for displacing the touch panel 12 by a plurality of vibration patterns by respectively applying a drive signal to the first and second piezoelectric elements 14a, 14b. The vibration drive control part 18 displaces the touch panel 12 by a first vibration pattern by applying the same drive signal to the first and second piezoelectric elements 14a, 14b, and displaces the touch panel 12 by a vibration pattern different from the first vibration pattern by applying the drive signal only one of the first and second piezoelectric elements 14a, 14b.</p> |
