Disclosed is a motion compensation method for encoding and decoding scalable video. The invention comprises: acquiring, from the corresponding block of a base layer corresponding to the current block of an enhancement layer, a first prediction value of pixels constituting the current block; using a block-unit bi-directional motion compensation result and a pixel-unit motion compensation result relating to the enhancement layer in order to acquire a second prediction value of the pixels constituting the current block; and using a weighted sum of the first prediction value and the second prediction value in order to acquire a prediction value of pixels constituting the current block. |
