PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for manufacturing a stretchable sheet, capable of stabilizing winding of a continuous body of a thread-like elastic member around a conveyance mechanism.SOLUTION: The device includes: a joining mechanism 21 for joining a pair of continuous sheets 11,12 by subjecting them to sandwich-pressing in a thickness direction of the continuous sheets while conveying them along a continuous direction of the continuous sheets; a conveyance mechanism 31 for conveying the continuous body of the thread-like elastic member 13 toward between the pair of continuous sheets joined by sandwich-pressing with the joining mechanism; a winding mechanism 41 for winding the continuous body 13ac of the thread-like elastic member in a stretched state around the conveyance mechanism 31 while withdrawing the continuous body 13a of the thread-like elastic member; and a cutting mechanism 51 for cutting the continuous body of the thread-like elastic member 13ac at an end side position in a crossing direction than the continuous sheet to produce a separated thread-like elastic member, after the pair of the continuous sheets 11,12 are sandwich-pressed with the joining mechanism. |
