PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of inconvenience due to the fact that the line period of reading operation is the same in the end determination period and the manuscript reading period.SOLUTION: An image reading section 3 is possible to perform reading operation with a line period for end determination in the tip determination processing, and to perform reading operation with a line period for manuscript reading, different from the line period for end determination, in the manuscript reading processing for reading an image on a manuscript sheet. Consequently, occurrence of inconvenience due to the fact that the line period of reading operation is the same in the end determination period and the manuscript reading period can be suppressed. |
